Evry Drive is a Tasmanian family-owned and operated business, and the brainchild of a qualified and practicing Environmental Manager who became an advocate for Electric Vehicles through an interest in meaningful action to help address climate change.
And so, behind Evry Drive is a clear desire to support the transition towards sustainable transport. But inspired by businesses that actively give back to the communities they operate in, Evry Drive was also established with a secondary aim of supporting those around us who could benefit from some extra help. It was this aim that led Evry Drive to collaborate with StreetSmart Australia in a partnership which commits 50% of Evry Drive profits to meaningful initiatives that support people impacted by homelessness.

Evry Drive wasn’t established to merely provide means to get people from A to B, there’s a genuine interest in maximising the Tasmanian holiday experience. Which is why extras like child seats and ice boxes are available at no extra cost, why contactless handovers have been utilised, why you’ll find complementary food and drinks in vehicles upon collection, why complimentary use of public charging stations is included, and why vehicles need not be charged prior to return. StreetSmart
Driven by the belief that everyone should have a safe and secure place to call home, StreetSmart raises funds and awareness to support smaller, grassroots organisations who bring about change for people experiencing – or are at risk of – homelessness.
To achieve this, StreetSmart creates meaningful and localised opportunities for communities to take action by learning, advocating, fundraising and donating. These opportunities increase community awareness about homelessness and result in improved resilience and capacity of vital organisations and their communities to offer essential services to people in need.
Across communities these actions lead to increased health, wellbeing, financial security and housing outcomes for vulnerable people, with reduced public stigma and increased advocacy for change at the individual, community, and business level. Ultimately, StreetSmart is working towards building strong local communities in which homelessness, if it does occur, is rare, brief, and non-recurring.
